Professional Development

As a first year teacher I value feedback and work to interpret the information to improve my teaching techniques and professional growth. I continuously seek advice from appropriate resources and enjoy working with professional learning communities. This year I was fortunate to attend and participate in various district professional development days, the Beginning Teacher Conference, Calgary City Teacher’s Convention, school workshops, reflection, and professional learning communities. Through the above experiences I was able to enhance my experience and provide meaningful lessons and activities for my students.
